This once in a lifetime tour allows you to explore a secret slot canyon, right here in Southern Utah! Travel and sand board (optional) in the deep, coral pink sand, catch breathtaking glimpses of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, and arrive at the beautiful Peek-a-Boo Slot Canyon. This isolated narrow slot canyon is a favorite of the Kanab locals. Peekaboo’s secret location is tucked away in the high desert and visited only by those with knowledge of its location. Our tour gives you plenty of time to hike, explore, take pictures, and enjoy the unique, winding shapes of the slot canyon without the pressure of crowds. On your return, you may even see some of the amazing Mule deer roaming in the wild.
Expect very easy, light hiking. This tour is suitable for all ages. Total hiking distance is close to 1 mile roundtrip.
TYLER
A native to Kanab, Tyler has spent over 30 years as a guide between the Colorado River and the Southern Utah backcountry! He has guided in Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon national park, Grand canyon National park and lake Powell national Recreation Area. He loves to ATV/OHV, hike, raft, boat, and be with his beautiful wife, four children and four grandchildren. Tyler has a deep family history in the Southern Utah area, as his 3rd great grandfather discovered Zion National park. He loves sharing his backyard with others and his hope is that you fall in love with this unforgettable red rock landscape, and have many amazing adventures while you are here.
BRENT
Born and raised in Southern Utah and Northern Arizona, Brent has been guiding tours since the early 1990’s. He has a great love for the outdoors and especially likes taking his Jeep into remote places. Brent is well known for his quick wit and funny sense of humor. He is a joy to be around and laid back and easy going.
WHITNEY
The one that keeps us all on track. Whitney has spent her whole life around Kanab Utah and She has a love for the outdoors and her family. She runs the office and keeps the ball rolling at all times. We couldn’t do it without her. If you call the office you’ll most likely get the opportunity to speak with her and by the end of the call you will feel like your family.
